After doing a lot of reading and studying I decided to do a swap so I bought a 2003 f250 super duty 4x4 with a 6.0 powerstroke and I have a 1998 Dodge ram 2500 with a 12 valve . My plan is to take the 12 valve from the dodge and put in the ford . Bought the kit from DCS and went at it . We have been at it since memorial day and yep labor day just went by and yep we are slow . My mechanic is a machinist by trade so he has a job and this is a hobby for him but I trust him more than most career mechanics . We have been out on the road in the truck four or five times but have a few bugs to get out . Speedometer is not working and have spent several hours working on that . Puffing a little white smoke like it is running lean along with some spitting and coughing when punching the pedal and kicking into passing gear . Did the upgrades that DCS recommends of a 12 valve when putting into an auto tranny truck such as stage two injectors, upgraded governor springs and upgraded valve springs . Think I found part of that problem was the intake side of the intercooler was sucking a lot of raw air because of a rubber coupling coming lose . It does run better after fixing that so sucking raw air makes a difference . Will update and have some pictures later .

    Hello
Wain here, and my son Wesley; are in the process of putting a 12V into a 2003 Ram 3500. With whole front end off the '03, re-positioned lift points, and an adjustable tip , we could not shoehorn the 12V into the frame. The pans are not the same, so that's a "no switch" !! What's the secret? Lift the body? Cut the cross member? Modify the pan? Help!!
